About Tillmann Wholesale Growers
Located at 4010 Champeau Rd, New Franken, WI 54229, Tillmann Wholesale Growers operates as a wholesale nursery serving New Franken in Wisconsin. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as wholesaler, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
In New Franken, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Wisconsin, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–4:30 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (920) 468-9222. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 7 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded wholesale nurseries in New Franken.
New Franken is in Wisconsin, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New Franken follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Called Tillman’s to buy trees for a project through my business, it is a excavation/landscaping business. Was told I can’t purchase from them because I’m “not a nursery” and they only sell wholesale. Wholesale is typically business to business, so refusing to sell to a landscaping contractor doesn’t make much sense. Very disappointing experience, especially with how it was handled by Paul. Felt dismissive and not interested in working with other local businesses. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
